Kiss me... Close your eyes, miss me... And you end up your thoughts in the world of Cadbury, right? The purple wrapper with a chocolatey cover. Aha! The worldwide crush. Have you ever thought about where this Cadbury chocolate came from? It all started as a beverage in the 1820s and it's continuing as a chocolate bar. Well, all thanks to John Cadbury! 😋
Since childhood, I have had 'the Cadbury cravings'. When everything around seemed simple to the rest of the world, the world of kids was something different. Beyond all fun, a school bag loaded with books and copies, sitting straight in all eight long periods, homecoming with a bunch of homework was not easy. The day used to end up with a dream of Dairy Milk..... "Kitna maza aye re.... Duniya Dairy Milk ki Bann jaye...! "
Earth revolves around the sun for 365 days 6 hours and 9 minutes ✖ 13 and then homo sapiens enter into the most confusing period of their life till they turn 19 or 20 or sometimes even 21. It all starts with love at first sight- collecting chocolate wrappers; continues with break-ups- throwing the wrappers and patch-ups- again time for some Cadbury chocolates; friends- birthday gifts and Cadbury; career-building tensions- calming down with Cadbury, and ends up with all decision-making maturity at least to some extent- no time for Cadbury.
Every wave eventually settles. Beyond the period of adolescence life demands settlement else ends up with anxiety or depression. The importance of chocolate cannot go unnoticed and then Cadbury plays its role. From subh arambh... Kuch Mitha ho Jaye to munching on Cadbury to avoid any mental disbalance life goes on.
Note: Chocolate helps in calming anxiety and depression but anything excessive is actually harmful. Try sharing chocolates with everyone irrespective of their age. It brings happiness.😀
P.S: Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk is my favorite.😍

Great Competitor of your sweetness...... 🌚
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Delicious. Crispy. Chocolaty.. It almost sums up the entire childhood of us. Oh how beautifully you have expressed the whole 13/14 years in a nutshell. Or should I say, in "shots"! Beautifully written, well explained, and those examples and adjectives were just like the almonds or cashew in the silk! Keep it up! Waiting for more delicious items to be served!!!
